Tifon received recognition for excellent human resources management
After going through an extensive certification process, Tifon d.o.o. became the latest holder of the Employer Partner Certificate.
Through the certification process, what stood out the most was Tifon’s care for their employees, and that was the domain the company was given the highest scores. There are numerous initiatives by which Tifon has shown that the employees come first – work-life balance is promoted through flexible working hours, flexible use of vacation days and enabled work from home, and there are also many initiatives for parents such as a day off for the first day of school, Children's Joy Day and gifts for children for special occasions. Additionally, the health of their employees is promoted through lectures on healthy eating, fresh fruit delivery, Tifon’s Sports Day as well as encouraging employees to participate in races such as B2Run and Terry Fox Run.
Furthermore, Tifon pays great attention to employee development, fostering diversity and leaving a mark in the community. Trainings in the company are available to all levels of employees, and in 2019 they were attended by over 70% of the employees. The company has an equal number of women and men in managerial positions, and women's leadership is promoted through participation in various trainings and conferences (FEMP, Women Leadership). Also, Tifon organizes various corporate social responsibility actions such as planting trees, raising funds for non-profit associations, clearing the forest, and encouraging voluntary blood donation.
In order to approach the potential candidates on the labour market, Tifon participates in the GROWWW program of the MOL Group that employs young talented trainees. Internship is also provided to high school students, with a mentor who monitors their work.
Siniša Komnenović, President of the Management Board, received the Employer Partner certificate from Aleksandar Zemunić, Director of SELECTIO.
