Hrvatski Telekom an Employer Partner for the seventh year in a row
For the seventh year in a row, Hrvatski Telekom is a holder of the prestigious Employer Partner certificate. Every year, HT confirms their excellence in the implementation of the human resources management process and their commitment to ensuring the highest satisfaction of their employees. In as many as 40 of the 45 processes analyzed through CEP standards, Hrvatski Telekom achieved the highest possible marks, which ranks the company among the best employers in Croatia.

In this year's certification process, the company was also proud to get an increase the total number of points, as they confirmed the highest human resources standards in all five areas of certification: strategy, recruitment and selection, performance management, training and development, and employee relations. Among the achievements, the most prominent are well-designed performance appraisal and rewards systems, additional forms of employee benefits as well as the possibility of personal development through various modern platforms, which led to an increase in digital training hours by 300 percent compared to last year. Also, what stands out is frequent tracking of employee satisfaction twice a year as well as flexible work arrangements, which are further enhanced by the introduction of a new SmartWork model that allows work from both home and office, with flexible working hours and agile work model.
"The Employer Partner certificate is a confirmation that Hrvatski Telekom is one of the most desirable employers in Croatia, which is the result of our continuous efforts to provide our colleagues with the best working conditions and opportunities for personal and professional growth. This is visible in a recent internal survey that showed the highest employee satisfaction in the company's history. This is an incentive for all of us to continue to improve existing and develop new activities aimed at employee welfare, and thus contribute to the success of the entire company," said Ivan Bartulović, Board Member and CHRO.
100 percent of employees praised the company's care during the pandemic, and as many as 91 percent were satisfied with work-life balance. This is also a result of the many benefits that employees enjoy, such as, among others, paid leave for parents of first-graders, financial benefits for the birth of a child, Day with mom and dad at work, gift for wedding and many others.
Hrvatski Telekom traditionally promotes the health of employees through subsidizing sports activities and general medical examinations fully financed by the company, as well as the intranet site "Zdravko" that is enriched with various contents that promote a healthy lifestyle.
As a socially responsible company, Hrvatski Telekom strives to contribute to the development of the community they operate in, which is why the HT Volunteer Club was founded. In the first month of its operating, the Club has registered almost 200 employees. Since its establishment, the Club has carried out five voluntary blood donations at various company’s locations as well as several actions to help various associations. Within the company, there is also the "Prijatelj" foundation which provides assistance to HT Group employees and their loved ones when they need it the most.
