Newest holders of the Excellence During Challenges recognition announced
Since April 2020, SELECTIO has been awarding the Excellence During Challenges recognition to those companies that demonstrate a high level of care for their employees during the coronavirus pandemic. The goal of this recognition, while emphasizing the importance of quality employee management, is to encourage the sharing of good practices initiated by many companies during the pandemic period.
In order for a company to receive this recognition, it must go through an independent evaluation of its HR practices, assessing the company's agility and adaptability, organization of work in times of crisis, communication with employees, initiatives launched to ensure employee health and well-being, and the company’s technological readiness for new ways of working.

In HPB, they point out that in this period it was extremely important for them to ensure the physical and mental health and safety of employees, which they did through various internal initiatives. A survey was conducted in which employees had the opportunity to express their views on work during the COVID-19 pandemic and make suggestions for improvements. Based on the results of the survey, measures were implemented that made it even easier for employees to work in the current circumstances, increase productivity and improve their sense of well-being. In addition, psychosocial support workshops were organized for employees from earthquake-affected areas and they were provided with financial aid for repairing damage to the facilities in which they live. Although the primary focus was on caring for employee health, in 2020, performance management and onboarding processes that enable even better employee development were implemented.

We are extremely proud of all of them because they achieved very good business results even in these challenging conditions,“ said Ana Đidara, HR Director at HPB.

Even in these challenging times, Lidl has once again proven the stability and success of its business, significant care for its employees and responsibility towards the local community, thus reaffirming its status as Employer Partner, of which it has been a proud holder since 2011.
During the challenging pandemic period, Optika Anda showed with its initiatives and decisions that their employees really come first, and all necessary measures for the protection of employees were implemented in a timely manner.
