HEINEKEN Hrvatska among the most desirable employers in Croatia for the second year in a row

HEINEKEN Hrvatska has been awarded the Employer Partner certificate for the second year in a row. Compared to their last year's certification results, HEINEKEN Hrvatska additionally improved their HR processes and achieved an impressive 96% of the total possible points, thus confirming the strategic importance and the proactiveness of their HR function in relation to the market challenges and employee needs. Odin Goedhart, Managing Director, and Romina Ivančić, Sales Director, accepted the Employer Partner certificate from Aleksandar Zemunić, Member of the Management Board at SELECTIO.

HEINEKEN Hrvatska went through the certification process for the first time last year and demonstrated that they indeed live by the three principles underlying the company's strategy - sustainable, natural and fair. All employees are included in a transparent performance appraisal system which is linked to the business strategy and the rewarding and education of the employees. In the past year, HEINEKEN has invested additional efforts in the development and training of all its employees, and on average they have participated in more than 60 hours of external and internal training, while an average of over 5900 HRK has been allocated for training per employee. HEINEKEN also has an internal training system that is in line with the best practices in the world, with internal knowledge sharing already starting during employee onboarding, with all managers participating. HEINEKEN Hrvatska is focused on recognizing and developing talents, and the company generally supports the development of the international careers of its employees.

HEINEKEN Hrvatska always listens to the needs of their employees, and besides conducting an organizational climate survey once a year, they strongly encourage employees to give their suggestions for improving business processes, while the best ideas are implemented, praised and rewarded. The fact that, in the company, employee safety and health always come first is evidenced by the fact that they recently celebrated 1200 days without injury at work, and employee suggestions are regularly taken into account. For example, at the suggestion of employees, they were provided with personalized noise protection plugs with a special filter to pass through the frequency of the human voice.

Last year, the Stay in Motion platform was launched to allow employees to share their sports experiences and motivate each other, and it is also a major place for communication that promotes health and encourages sports. Wellbeing workshops FRIDAYS AT 2 have also been launched, covering topics that can be useful to employees, both in their private and business lives, such as managing their finances and dealing with stress.
