Valamar hotels and resorts confirmed the Employer Partner status fourth year in a row |
Fourth year in a row, Valamar hotels and resorts confirmed the Employer Partner status. On Friday, 14 May 2010, Valamar was awarded the Employer Partner Certificate for the current year.
Aleksandar Zemunić, Director of SELECTIO kadrovi Ltd. and a recertification team leader awarded the Certificate to Gordana Fabris, Human Resource Management Director at Valamar hotels and resorts and emphasized: „Valamar hotels and resorts was involved in the Employer Partner Certificate project for the first time in July 2005 as one of the participants of the project's initial study. The company fulfilled the criteria for acquiring the Employer Partner status back in 2006 with its quality processes, but also significantly contributed to development of quality processes management standards in human resources. Valamar has continued to constantly invest in its practice development, whereas especially emphasized this year are HRM position as a valuable and useful business partner which is able to contribute significantly in achieving strategic goals, as well as a special attention given to company's mission and vision transfer to all employees and increase of employees' engagement in Valamar's strategy implementation. When comparing Valamar hotels and resorts to other organizations that went through the Employer Partner certification process, Valamar's reviews are remarkably above average placing Valamar this year, just like last year, among Top 5 Employer Partners."
On this occasion Gordana Fabris stated: „Receiving the Certificate fourth year in a row is a confirmation of our continuous success in human resource management as well as a great acknowledgment, but also a motivation for accepting additional suggestions, and also learning from other companies which participate in this project. Analysis which shows that we are the best Employer Partner among hotel industry in the Certificate and among Top 5 Employer Partners in the country have shown soundness of our investment strategies in our human resources. It includes the existence of Valamar Academy – internal education and training system for future directors of objects and department leaders, more than 20 thousand hours per year for approximately 1,300 employees, recruiting new generation of trainees and scholarships for students of hotel–tourist majors in all destinations, elaborated system of employee remuneration, etc."
