SOS-Children's Village Croatia has confirmed the Employment Partner status
ImageOn 17 December 2008, SOS-Children's Village Croatia has confirmed the Employer Partner status.



„With great pleasure and pride, the SOS-Children's Village Croatia association has proved its excellence in the Human Resource Management processes and their development in the year 2008. Based on this fact, in the recertification process, SOS-Children's Village Croatia, together with SOS-Children's Village Lekenik and Ladimirevci, has confirmed its care for its employees by regaining the Certificate. The awarding of the Employer Partner Certificate took place on 17 December 2008 on the traditional Christmas party in SOS-Childen’s Village Lekenik.

“The Employer Partner Certificate is once again the recognition for many years of hard work, much effort and devotion of all employees who work here and in best interest of the children we look after", was stated from SOS-Children’s Village Croatia.

SOS-Children’s Village Croatia is the first non-governmental association who became the Employer Partner Certificate winner. The association has confirmed its status going through the recertification process. Mrs. Višnja Tuškan Krupić, National Director, has received the Certificate.

SOS-Children’s Villages look after children without parents or parental care, regardless of their race, nationality or religion, providing them with love and security in the family environment, as well as a permanent home and education needed for a happy and peaceful childhood.

This year as well, SOS-Children’s Village Croatia has confirmed how modern systems in Human Resource Management can successfully be set in a non-governmental association and how its improvement is crucial for running a successful business. Tasks and principles of SOS-Children’s Village employees (SOS-Mother, Father and Experts) set high standards in Human Resource Management. Those standards refer to employment systems, monitoring systems, education and internal communication among all levels of employees who provide care and education for the children. Accessing and working with the employees are the foundations which are transferred to the children so they can be happy, competent and valuable part of the society, and could also contribute to its development and prosperity.
