The companies Tele2 d.o.o. and Sunce Koncern d.d. became Employer Partner Certificate winners during November 2008.
With 28 companies so far, the new two companies have won the Employer Partner Certificate status. Employer Partner Certificate, the certificate for excellence in Human Resource Management has been given to the following companies, better to say its representatives:

Mirta Šalamon, the Head of the Department of Human Resources and Administration, Tele2 d.o.o. has stated during the Certificate winner proclamation: “The primary reason why we have enrolled in the certification process is because of the comparison with the best practices and quality standards in Human Resource Management in other companies. This screening has shown us detailed analysis of the company’s actual status and has given us valuable advices and guidelines on how to improve every of the ranked areas. Another reason for trying to win the Certificate is most surely its reputation, and by winning the Certificate Tele2 confirms itself as a desirable employer who will attract employees of the best quality. The Certificate is most definitely recognition and confirmation of our work, however, we can and we will be even better, i.e. as one of the guidelines of our corporative values states, we are “Proud, but never satisfied”.
Marija Kalinić, the Director of Human Resources Department in Sunce Koncern d.d., has stated during the Certificate winner proclamation: „Members of Sunce Koncern (Hotel Alan d.d. Starigrad Paklenica, Hotels Brela d.d., Hotels Tučepi and Zlatni rat d.d. Bol) have always been aware of the importance of human work in creating and providing top hotel and catering services, which is, in our belief, one of the main reasons of our success and long duration in a very demanding market. This year our Zlatni rat celebrates 60 years since opening, Hotels Brela 56 years, Hotels Tučepi 55 years and Hotels Alan 40 years. Since the publication under the brand “bluesun hotels&resorts” in 2005, in Sunce Koncern we are working very intensively on the development and implementation of modern Human Resource Management systems such as selection system, competence system, education system, monitoring work performance system, internal education system and system for the development of leadership. The process of winning the Employer Partner Certificate primarily represents feedback from the HRM profession about work so far in this, for us very important, segment of business. Since this project gathers only top Croatian companies, the comparison with the best practices in Human Resource Management in Croatia is also very important for us.
